The second bottle at Bar Suda is Chile's Casillero del Diablo, a name that means 'the devil's cellar'. Around 1883, Concha y Toro founder Don Melchor Concha y Toro built a private cellar beneath his estate near Santiago for his finest wines, and once the neighbors learned of the collection, bottles began to disappear one by one. Rather than add locks and guards, he is said to have spread the rumor himself that the devil lived down there. Superstitious locals stopped coming near, and the wine stayed put. That legend gave Concha y Toro's mass-market line its name; Devil's Collection is its Reserva-level line, a Shiraz-led blend rounded out with Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère.
